One of the struggles a new business faces is the cost of legal services. The Legal Pathworks Startup Business Package includes:

Incorporation and Organization
  • Consultation on appropriate corporate form
  • Verification of availability of corporate name
  • Preparation and filing of Michigan certificate of incorporation
  • Filing for assumed name (if applicable)
  • Filing of IRS form for an employer identification number
  • Preparation and filing of qualifications to do business as a foreign corporation (if applicable)
  • Preparation of bylaws for the corporation
  • Preparation of Action by Incorporator
  • Drafting of board approvals (if applicable)
Drafting of indemnification agreement for directors and officers

Drafting corporate records and and a minute book


This startup package does not include:
  • Issues related to pre-existing or related business entities
  • Resolution of disagreements between former and current founders
  • Paperwork for more than five founders

Additional services that may be added onto the initial Startup Business Package includes the following.

  • Business Plan Review (done through Project Pathworks)
